This is the kit we have put together for a direct plug and play full twist throttle upgrade for the mototec 48V E motos.
Included in the kit:
Surron style full twist throttle with plug and play 3 pin OEM plug installed
hand grips (7 different color options)
Bar mounted voltage display (blue or red LED) with 2 pin OEM plug installed
4 rubber cable straps
How to order:
Select the hand grip option you would like and add to cart. We will add the handgrip option you have selected to the box that includes the surron style full twist throttle, bar mounted voltage display, zip ties and rubber cable straps. Please allow 1 to 2 business days for us to get the kit tested and packaged. When it ships you will get an automated email letting you know along with tracking information.
Do not install the throttle tube hand grip dry
Forcing the tight rubber hand grip onto the plastic throttle tube can damage the internal rotational hard stop of the throttle. Before installing use a little original WD-40, coat the inside of the hand grip and a thin coat around the throttle tube to allow it to slide on without damage. If you find yourself needing to forcefully twist the grip on, stop.
Do not over tighten the clamp bolts
The housing is cast aluminum, if you over tighten the bolts it will crack the housing. It only takes around 5(ft-lb) to secure them to the bars.
