Returns & Warranty

Warranty claims:

All new products we sell will come with its manufacture warranty. Each manufacture is different, but they will range from 2 months up to 24 months. These warranties are for parts only (Do not cover labor). If you bought the item assembled by us, we will file the warranty claim on your behalf and any labor cost is discounted by 30%. If the item was bought new in box and not assembled by us the warranty claim needs to be filed by you and once approved the scooter can be scheduled for repairs

HIBOY WARRANTY POLICY

Hiboy 12-Month Warranty

  1. All brand-new Hiboy escooters and ebikes are covered under our manufacturer's 1-year all-inclusive warranty for the original owner, 

 Batteries

  1. It is normal circumstence for the battery capacity fading with time goes by. It is excluded out of the warranty coverage.
  2. Warranty service will be not honored if the damage is caused by human.

 This Limited Warranty does not cover

  1. Warranty service will be not honored if the damage is caused by human.
  2. Damage caused by external factors is not covered under the warranty. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters such as typhoons, hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, lightning strikes, or extreme weather conditions. Additionally, incidents such as fires, accidents, or unauthorized modifications are also excluded from warranty coverage.

Repair Service

For repair services, Hiboy will only provide free replacement parts Labor is not included

Limitation of Damages

Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, Hiboy shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue or data, resulting from any breach of express or implied warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory, even when Hiboy has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

MOTOTEC WARRANTY POLICY

Damaged / Defective Items:

MotoTec USA will ship out free replacement parts if any shipping damage occurs or products arrive with missing/defective parts. Labor is not included, customers are responsible for replacing these parts. 


Shipping charges of warranty parts are only covered if shipping within the 48 contiguous States. Should the item be majorly damaged beyond warranty repair, MotoTec USA, at their discretion, will offer a return or ship a replacement unit. Customers are responsible to box and safely pack the item for shipping, we cannot provide boxes or packing material. 


If damage is not reported to us within 10 days of receiving the item, the shipping companies will not honor the damage claim and the customer will be responsible for the shipping charges. For items shipped LTL Freight, damage must be noted with the driver on the delivery receipt at time of signature, or for concealed damage, they must be notified within 5 days of receiving, otherwise the claim will be denied.

Returns:

Any and all items bought from TekBoss can be returned for store credit within 14 days of the purchase date.

Returning a new item:

If the item was bought new and returned new in box, we can refund the full value for store credit.

If the item was bought new and returned used, we charge a 20% fee with addition charges for excessive wear and tear if excessive wear and tear is present.

All used items have a 20% fee with addition charges for excessive wear and tear if excessive wear and tear is present.
